Article: Everyone Wanted to Hit Santa
Everyone Wanted to Hit Santa
There’s something about Christmas that brings out either the best in people… or the urge to punch Santa Claus.
This year, we decided to test that theory.
We took Rebel Boxing to the streets, put gloves on complete strangers, dressed Santa up (sorry Omar), and gave everyone one simple invitation: hit Santa. No anger. No hate. Just fun, chaos, and a bit of controlled violence — Rebel style.
And people LOVED it.
Kids, adults, people walking by with groceries, people who “never boxed before” — everyone wanted a turn. The laughter, the energy, the crowd forming around us… it wasn’t about knocking Santa out. It was about letting people feel something raw, playful, and different.
Santa slipped, defended, moved — sometimes too well. Sometimes not enough. By the end, even Santa had a black eye to prove he showed up and took it like a champ.
What made it special wasn’t the punches.
It was the connection.
For a moment, strangers weren’t strangers anymore. They were part of something. A challenge. A joke. A memory they’ll talk about next Christmas.
This is Rebel Boxing.
We don’t just train fighters — we create moments.
Santa survived.
The streets won.
And we’ll definitely do it again.
